How long will the office visit take and what to expect?
At AMMC, we understand that every patient is unique and the importance of finding the best treatment suitable for your needs. Upon arrival, you will be taken to a private room and be seen by a medical provider for a private consultation. A complete individual assessment is performed and a full clinical diagnosis is made, before we customized a treatment. Our assessment will include your medical history and doppler ultrasound (to measure the blood flow within the penis). Afterward, you will receive customized test dose medication to induce an erection. The consultation will last approximately an hour long.
Is my partner spouse welcome to the consulation?
Yes absolutely, if you feel comfortable with your partner or spouse being there during your consultation.
Will this require recurring visits?
No. Only if you have any new concerns you wish to discuss with your technician. Otherwise you should be covered for about a year.
Will my insurance cover this treatment?
We do not accept insurance, however, you will be provided with the appropriate paperwork to submit to your insurance company. If they cover the expense or not is dependent upon your personal coverage.
